Terms of Service

By creating an account on Verbivo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Verbivo. By accepting these terms, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

Verbivo is a real-time multilingual transcription and translation web platform designed for meetings. The platform provides:

• Real-time voice transcription (via browser API and/or OpenAI Whisper).
• Automatic translation of transcripts into multiple languages (DeepL, OpenAI).
• Automatic topic classification (Anthropic Claude).
• AI-generated meeting summaries (Anthropic Claude).
• Session sharing via access codes or email invitations.
• Team groups for organizing collaborative sessions.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information when registering.
• Keeping your account password confidential.
• All activities conducted through your account.
• Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.

You own the content you create — your meeting transcripts, translations, and summaries belong to you. By using the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store this content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

You are solely responsible for your meeting content. We will not use your meeting content to train AI models.

By using transcription features, you confirm that you have obtained consent from all meeting participants to have their voice recorded and transcribed, where required by applicable law.

You may not use Verbivo to:

• Transcribe private conversations of others without their consent.
• Engage in any illegal activity or infringe the rights of third parties.
• Distribute illegal, abusive, defamatory, or hate-inciting content.
• Attempt unauthorized access to other users' accounts or platform infrastructure.
• Scrape or systematically use APIs beyond the normal purpose of the service.
• Resell or redistribute the service without prior written consent.

Verbivo offers a free tier and paid plans (Pro, Business). Paid subscriptions are processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees on a recurring basis.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel at any time from your account settings or the Stripe billing portal.
• No refunds are issued for partial billing periods unless required by law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

Verbivo is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, temporarily or permanently discontinue any functionality, with or without notice, without liability to users.

To the extent permitted by law, Verbivo is not liable for:

• Inaccuracies in automatically generated transcripts or translations.
• Data loss due to technical failures.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the platform.
• Content of meetings created by users.

Our total liability to you, for any cause, will not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the last 12 months (or €10 if the service was free).

The Verbivo platform, including its interface, source code, logo, and marketing materials, are protected by the intellectual property rights of the operator. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by Romanian law and the law of the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.
